Fasset has received an operating license in Dubai, allowing it to serve institutional, qualified, and retail investors in the emirate. The license was granted by the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) and is part of a three-stage process that began with a provisional permit and a preparatory license. Fasset will now be able to provide broker-dealer services and offer tokenized bonds and stocks in Dubai. The company is also working with VARA to develop compliant remittance corridors. Fasset CEO Mohammad Raafi Hossain said that the VARA approval is a “crucial link” in the company’s global licensing portfolio and will help to connect investors in Dubai with those in other countries where Fasset operates, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Turkey.
