The Bank of England has released stablecoin regulations that will take effect next year.
"Stablecoins have the potential to be used by many people in the UK for everyday payments," the paper reads.
Under the proposed rules, the Bank of England and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will implement policies released by the government last week, starting with fiat-backed stablecoins in early 2024.
